私は物心ついた時からアニメや漫画が大好きで、人生の半分以上の時間をアニメに費やしているほどのマニアです。

Hello, everyone! It’s nice to meet you. This is the secretary of Emu. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been a huge fan of anime and manga for as long as I can remember.

そんなアニメ一筋20年のオタクがおススメする作品は、【コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ】です。

As someone who has been an otaku for over 20 years, I’d like to recommend one of my most favorite anime, “Code Geass: Lelouch of the

Rebellion”.

ちなみに、この記事のタイトルは主人公ルルーシュの名台詞なんです。

If you didn’t know already, the title of this blog post is one of the most famous lines said by the protagonist, Lelouch.

このアニメは、世界の1/3を支配下にしたブリタニアが勢力を拡大し、日本を植民地化することに成功した背景を元に繰り広げられます。

This anime is based on the background of a country called Britannia, which has taken over Japan and currently controls ⅓ of the world.

実は、主人公のルルーシュはブリタニア皇帝の息子。

彼はその身分を隠しながら目と足が不自由な妹と一緒に日本で暮らしている高校生です。

Lelouch is revealed to be the son of the Emperor of Britannia, but due to various reasons, he currently lives in where Japan used to be, living a normal high school life with his blind and disabled little sister all while hiding his true identity.

ある日、彼は謎の少女C.Cから【ギアス】という不思議な力を授けられます。

One day, he meets a mysterious girl named C.C who ends up bestowing upon him the power of “Geass”.

そのことをきっかけにルルーシュは、かつてブリタニアで何者かに殺された母の仇と妹が安心して暮らせる未来を創るためにブリタニアに戦いを挑んでいくという復讐劇です。

Using this power, Lelouch decides to fight against Britannia in order to get revenge for his mother who was killed by someone in the old days and the future his sister can live safety.

このアニメの魅力は語りつくせないほどあり、日本の多くの人が「名作」と称する作品ですが、私が個人的に感じている魅力を2つご紹介します。

This anime is considered a masterpiece here in Japan. It is so amazing that words can’t describe it. Although I say this, I’d like to describe with words as to why this series is so highly regarded. I’d like to talk about  2 points.

①ロボットアニメならではのアクションシーン

形や性能の違うロボット同士の戦闘シーンは必見！

ロボットアニメ好きなら魅了されること間違いなし。

回を重ねるごとに敵と味方のロボットがそれぞれグレードアップされるので、それだけでも見応えがありますが、戦闘部隊を率いる参謀たちの緻密に練られた戦略戦も丁寧に描写されているので、ロボットアニメを見たことがない人でも楽しめます。

① The mecha fight scenes

The fight scenes between each mecha robot are must-sees!

If you are a mecha fan, I guarantee you will enjoy watching this anime.

As you watch through each episode, you’ll notice how each mecha gradually gets upgrades, making each fight more and more exciting to watch. Just the fight scenes alone are worth watching this series for!

Even people who have never watched a mecha anime can have fun watching this show becaouse of lots of general's battles which was laied out from each leader of army closely.

②ルルーシュのキャラクター

普段は妹や友人に優しい反面、復讐のためなら残虐なこともできる二面性があります。一見、ただ冷酷な人物のように見えますが、自らの決断に苦しんで、葛藤し、後悔を重ね、失敗を繰り返しながら、それでも前に進もうとする非常に人間味のあるキャラクターなんです。

タイトルのセリフからもわかるように、自らの選択は自分で責任を取るというルルーシュのポリシーも尊敬できますよね。

② Personality of Lelouch

Although Lelouch is usually kind to his little sister and friends, he has another side to him. He is capable of being cruel and using any means necessary to exact his revenge and reach his goals.

At first, he may appear to be a cold and ruthless person, but in actuality, he is a very human character who constantly struggles with the weight of his decisions, failures and regrets. Despite everything he goes through, he only chooses to continue moving forward.

何年経っても色褪せない不朽の名作。

No matter how many years pass, this anime will always be considered a masterpiece.

今回紹介するのは鬼滅の刃に登場する主人公竈門炭治郎！ではなく、妹の禰󠄀豆子です！Hi guys! It’s me, Kuboyama from Emu!
For this post, I’d like to talk about a character from Demon Slayer! Can you guess who it is? It’s not Tanjiro… It’s his little sister, Nezuko!アニメの会社で働いているにも関わらずアニメに全く興味のなかった私が初めておもしろい！と思ったアニメです！Before I started working here, I had no interest in anime at all. But now, because of this job, I’ve started getting into anime a bit. She was the first character I became interested in.鬼に噛まれて鬼になってしまった禰󠄀豆子ちゃん。
Nezuko was bitten by a demon and ended up becoming one herself.戦っている時はとても強く頼りになる禰󠄀豆子ですが、
私が好きな禰󠄀豆子は布団の隙間から顔を覗かせる可愛い姿や、小さくなってカゴに入る姿です！Although she is extremely strong and capable on her own when fighting, what I like about her is how cute she is! She is so adorable when she is peeking out of her futon and when she has to make herself smaller to fit in the basket Tanjiro carries her in.炭治郎の背負っているカゴにいい子に入っている禰󠄀豆子が炭治郎と一緒に戦う姿をこれからも楽しみに全話見たいと思います！！I’m really excited to see more of her. I want to see her fighting more alongside Tanjiro! I can’t wait to see what else she does this season!!

今回は私の大好きな作品、ヒロアカについてご紹介します！

This time,I'd like to recommend my favorite comic "My Hero Academia"!

ヒーローが題材となっている事もあり、海外人気の高い作品です。

This is the story of "Heroes". So MHA is popular not only in Japan,there are so many fans around the world.

劇場版アニメ2作目では、なんと初日に全米ナンバーワンを獲得しているほど！

The second MHA movie reached the No.1 spot in the United States on opening day!

舞台は、総人口の約8割が何らかの超常能力”個性”をもつ超人社会。

The story takes the place in the society which about 80% of the population has a meta ability "Quirk".

個性を持たない”無個性”と呼ばれる少年が、様々な巨悪に立ちはだかり、一人前のヒーローになるまでの物語。

The boy,who doesn't have special ability and called as "Quirk-less",confronts great evils and became the greatest hero.

It is the story of My Hero Academia.

生徒達がどんどん成長し、強くなっていく過程がたまらなくアツいです。

You can't take your eyes off the young heroes' growth and becoming stronger.

そして何より各キャラにきちんとスポットが当たり、誰もが主人公と思わせてくれるストーリー描写がとっても魅力的！！

Also, every character is spotlighted in the story. It is one of the best points that all characters can be Hero!!

特に緑谷・爆豪・轟のオリジン組と呼ばれる3人のそれぞれが思い描く「理想のヒーロー像」に向かって突き進む姿は、思わず応援したくなるほど。

Especially,Midoriya,Bakugou and Todoroki who are called as "Origin Trio" towards to their dream to be "ideal hero". You will want to cheer them up while reading stories.

アメコミ好きさんや、少年漫画の王道ストーリーに胸熱したい方にぜひおススメしたい作品です。

I recommend MHA to whoever likes American comics and wants to be enjoy exciting story pf boys comics.

漫画の作画も美しいのですが、アニメの躍動感も凄いのでどちらもチェックしてみて欲しいですね！

The design of manga is beautiful,but MHA animation is as good as manga. 

最後に、私の推しである轟焦凍くんの名言を紹介します。

Lastly,I'll show you the quote by my fave,Shoto Todoroki.

彼もまたつらい過去を背負っているのですが、過去を乗り越え未来を見つめ、成長していく過程がとてもカッコいい男です。

He also has a hardship,but he overcome the past and keep growing toward to his future. He is the coolest hero for me.

辛いとき、挫けそうなとき。

When I'm depressed and I want to give up,I always remember his words and think "I never forget who I want to become".

これからも世界的にも愛される作品であるよう、ファンとして応援し続けたいです！

アイドルアニメ紹介第２弾！アイドルマスターに引き続き、今回は「ラブライブ！」を紹介します。

Introduction of Idol anime vol.2!

Continuing from IDOLM@STER, I'll introduce "Love Live!" today.

ラブライブは作中の学校内で結成されたアイドルグループ、言わばスクールアイドルを描いた作品です。

Love Live is the story of school Idols who gathered at same school.

今や日本だけでなく海外でもライブツアーを行っているので、ご存じの方も多いかもしれません。

Now,their concert tours are hold around the world. You've heard the name of series,haven't you?

原点といわれているラブライブ!（無印）のグループ、μ'sは2015年に日本の年越しに欠かせない音楽番組「NHK紅白歌合戦」に出演し、普段あまりアニメを見ない方にも名を知られるほど有名になりました。

"μ's",the first group of Love Live series,appeared to the most famous music fes "Red&White Year-end Song Festival" in 2015. At that time,their name was known widely to public.

彼女たちはスクールアイドルであり、プロのアイドルではないこと。

The point of story is that they're "School Idols",but not professional idols.

そのため曲や衣装など、舞台に必要なものは全て自分たちが作成しています。

That's why they create their songs,costumes and everything needed for their stage.

自らで創り上げ出来上がったライブで輝いている姿にとても魅力を感じます。

You must be moved by the stage which girls build up with their efforts.

ラブライブのキャラクターは現在全43人、楽曲は数えきれないほど世に生み出しています。

There are 43 idols in Love Live series,and the huge number of songs have been created.

楽曲の中にはアニメーションPVが存在するものもあり、それぞれのキャラクターの個性を最大限に引き出して歌って踊っている姿はなんといっても可愛すぎる！

Some music have great animation music video. You can enjoy that the idols sing and perform with shining talents and originalities. The girls on the stage are so lovely!!

魅力的なキャラクターばかりなので、その中で推しを決めるのは困難かもしれません・・・笑

It will be difficult to decide your "Oshi"because every characters are sooo attractive haha

今回は「アイドルマスターシリーズ」をご紹介します。

This time,I'll introduce "IDOL M@STER"series.

"アイマス"の略称で知られているアイドルマスターは、今年で17周年を迎える歴史のある作品で、アイドル育成ゲームの火付け役になったといわれています。

This really long run series called "I M@S" will celebrate its 17th anniversary,and is is said "The origin of Idol simulation games".

一口にアイマスといっても、その中でも5つのブランドに分かれています。

Actually,the"IDOL M@STER" has 5 different titles.

女性アイドルだけでなく、男性アイドルも活躍しており、総数なんと300人以上！どんな方でもきっとお気に入りのアイドルが見つかると思います。

Not only girls idols,boys idols are also popular among the series fans. The total number of idols is over 300! You'll find your fave in them.

キャラクターをトップアイドルに育てていき、その中で挫折や苦悩を一緒に乗り越え、一人の普通の女の子・男の子がアイドルとして成長していく様子を肌で実感できる素敵なコンテンツです。

The concert light is must-have item to cheer the actors!

声はもちろん、見た目もキャラクターとリンクしていて、一度ライブへ行くとどんどんハマってしまいます。

Of coures their voice, and the concert costumes make the actors look like the real characters. You must be addicted once you join the concert.
